As many of you know, I'm teaching a grade Grade 11 accelerated  English class this summer! Today, one of my students presented on the topic of segregation and I shared with them this video clip! Could they ever imagine having a segregated prom? Think globally, act locally!

Thinking of a cool cross-curricular art activity to do with your students? My grade 3/4 students were learning about the Group of Seven and looking at their paintings of Canadian landscape. Using the artists as their inspiration, they picked up books on a province of their choice and recreated the scenery using acrylic paints!
